Explanation of the trade: McCune originally contacted me on discord on his account "McCune#8576" asking if I accept paypal and what my rate is. He decided not to make a purchase as he did not like the price. A few weeks later I am contacted on discord from what I am led to believe from my evidence his other discord account "AshBridges#9549". This user purchased 600m '07 from me for $266.75 CAD via paypal, i recieved the funds in my account then gave them the gold. Moments later he says he gambled it and wants to buy another 600m, i sold him 600m '07 again for the same price of $266.75 CAD via paypal.

How they scammed: This trade was completed on July 1st, 2022. On July 10th, 2022 I receive an e-mail from Paypal saying I have received a chargeback showing the transaction amount of $266.75CAD but the actual amount deducted from my account was the disputed amount of $292.64CAD. Moments later I received another e-mail with different id from his other 600m identical transaction saying that one is being charged back as well, and again a disputed amount of $292.64CAD was withdrawn directly from my Paypal balance which in total puts me at a loss of $585.28 CAD. I have message the user directly on both Discord profiles. I am not getting a response from his account AshBridges, but he is replying on his McCune discord and in my eyes pretending that he knows nothing about this and that I clearly have the wrong guy.

Screenshot #1 - Shows our context of the first payment of $266.75CAD and us finishing up the trade succesfully. Important information to note in this screenshot also : He tells me his rsn which was a high level account "mccute"

Screenshot #2 - This screenshots shows our chat log and transaction info of us completing a second transaction for an additional 600m '07 at the same rate of $266.75 CAD.

Screenshot #3 - This screenshot is my e-mail from paypal indicating the first chargeback. Important information to note, it shows the buyers name in this screenshot from the registered paypal information "ryan mccune"

Screenshot #4 - Similar to screenshot #3 description, except this was the second portion of our transaction for the additional 600m '07.

Screenshot #5 - This screenshot indicates that the discord profile of his "AshBridges#9549" is mutual friends with his other account "McCune#8576" prior to confrontation.

Screenshot/GIF #6 - This GIF upload shows that his linked accounts are no longer mutual friends after I confronted him about scamming me as if evidence is trying to be hidden and that there is no relation between these two accounts.

Screenshot/GIF #7 - This GIF upload is just a portion of our conversation of me confronting him on discord. Since the paypal information that was provided to me said "ryan mccune" I proceeded to call him by his first name Ryan on discord which he has never told me before. He agreed that is infact his first name.

Additonal Screenshot/GIF evidence - In this GIF upload I google the e-mail that is linked to his paypal information "[email protected]". When googled I get some results that were submitted from that e-mail based out of Ohio. McCune's location information on his Sythe profile also indicates that he is from Ohio.

I havent been able to own a paypal account since 2014. They are limited as soon as a bank or card with my name and license number is added.

That is not me. I haven't purchased gold for myself in a VERY long time.

I have no idea who that is, and its clearly a troll pretending to be Mod Ash

I'd like to note McCune has also blocked me on discord, and the account I traded the gold too "mccute" is very similar to his main account "mccune" which is also demonstrated in some of his past threads. It seems like a lot of linked information for a discord account who was not trying to imposter mister McCune in the first place. It appears there has also been past history of chargebacks from my research.

This guy's been name calling me on Discord since this morning. I've blocked him. I'll check back here to see results in a few hours.

He sold gold to someone who named themself after Mod Ash's first and last name and gave it to an imposter of my RSN and can't figure out what happened here. Brilliant.

 

For the record the names I used were moron and numbnuts My apologies but I myself am a bit defensive & emotional as i'm the one being shorted nearly $600 dollars from a paypal account that has your full name and even the e-mail registered to it that is the same as your sythe account. The other discord account is yours. The account was not in anyway trying to imposter "McCune". Now that the credentials have all leaked through the cracks you are making the account into an imposter to try to protect yourself.

 

I've also noticed from McCune's threads it seems the only e-mail information that he gives out is the e-mail "[email protected]" which can be found in this thread here. His more recent postings he appears to only include his discord information now. This seems strange that the so called "imposter" that was not even impersonating you wouldn't have just used this e-mail when creating the "so called paypal account that isn't yours" but it appears the paypal in registered with your more sensitive e-mail that is not to mention linked to your sythe account and not advertised on the forums.

I think I have provided sufficient evidence. This is basically like me scamming someone with my paypal and simply defending myself by saying "nah that's not my paypal account, wasn't me" I'd also like to refer to my screenshots #5 & #6 again which are also key points to note.

I'm not paying for this ridiculous accusation. Do whatever you want. I fixed this account 4 months ago for nearly $2,000 USD from the incidents in 2014 and donated $500 to Sythe directly for zero reason, as I don't market trade.

I have 40B+ OSRS, I don't sell, or buy. I messaged him for a friend months ago and his prices were ridiculous compared to other places. I've been targeted by people for the last few months in the clan communities recovering my accounts from over a decade ago.

I'm done, I don't care. I don't have any interest in the black market. If you believe this BS - so be it.

I don't have any messages on my Sythe or discord about this incident. I can't even create a PP without it being limited instantly.

 

I've lost an unbelievable amount to this BS.

He's offline. If you want to clear it up, I will have someone bring you the 1.2B he sold them right now.

I don't know why you don't give him the donation amount from my account and just delete the this thing. I rarely use it!

 

If I sold 1.2B right now with current buy offers around .39 CAD that would only give me $468 CAD. Unfortunately the disputed Paypal amounts to $585.28 CAD out of my pocket, gone right from my balance.

1.5B '07 is equivalent, or even willing to accept $575 CAD in crypto since it's bullet proof. Even knocked 10 bucks off if it's made right with crypto.

I had a friend check the legitimacy of the PP email and it pulls zero information leading back to me on it. I revoked my statement and told Andy to ban this account and offer you the donation rank I paid for a few months back.

I'm not going to pay for YOUR mistake, you almost had me.
