Your thoughts on armor + weapons going down, Goods going up?

So I've noticed that since this double xp weekend announcement, the prices of weapons and armor have dropped straight down and the price of pure ess, runes, potions etc are going up.

I'm thinking this could be because people are selling they're expensive items in order to use the money on the skills perhaps?

Please discuss your thoughts.

 

They are flying down tbh. I only realised. Trying to sell me gear for ags. Not working. FML

Armor/weps will skyrocket after the weekend.

Supplies for skills are easy to get though.

 

yeah im stocking up on armour and stuff atm

dumping all my supplies on thursday or maybe wednesday

 

Same, 25k dragon bones in stock, and waiting for the DFS to drop enough...

 

I think it's not so much about people selling their good items, but more so about nobody is spending money on armour/weapons atm as they're investing all their cash into supplies, weither it be for merchanting or skilling on the double exp weekend.

 

People selling their armour so they can afford intense and expensive armour is most likely the cause, but you have a point there too

 

Whips are gonna be rising. If you want a hot tip, I'd buy them now

People that own rares usually have spare money to train/invest... but they may as well drop a bit

 

Dragon bones are crashing atm, as they wanted be used as "much" as people orignally thouhgt fot the dew.

Dragon Bones are only dropping because the bonus xp is lower than the xp given by the altar, meaning they are not in demand.

If you do not want to take a risk, hold on to your items until the weekend instead of dumping them sometime this week or early next week. This is because there might be a price drop or two before dew, but in the end the prices will be much higher than they are now.

 

This. I would expect everything to rise since everyone wants to BUY.

 

You sir would be right, they will swap roles after the double xp phase though.

 

I'm really curious as you almost sound dead set that you know for a fact that they're going to be rising haha. Why do you say whips out of every weapon?
