First off.. I never new about this acknowledge thingy. My impression on self vouching was vouching yourself, having people vouch you when no services was provided.

Your RULE is:

Too many people have been abusing the vouch system. If you vouch for someone that you know in real life, you must acknowledge how you know them in your vouch.

First off.. It doesn't specify whether I have to acknowledge them as a relative if I have serviced them. I understand if someone is randomly vouching them to be legit or something, and why knowing them in real life would make a difference, but vouching for services, what would it matter if knowing them in real life, or never meeting them? SERVICES ARE SERVICES. Whether you know them or not.

 

Who would you choose to MM a trade for you; some random? Or your cousin.

Ben is saying that the other person involved was unaware of the situation.

Real life friends rule is there to protect the real life friend just in case the person scams. We don't want to be banning people just because of association, so we take that risk out.
