Regarding Bonus XP Weekend

My question is regarding training prayer on the Bonus XP Weekend. Are player-owned houses taken out of the XP Bonus? I'm wondering because of using the Guilded Alters, or would I be stuck with Ecto'n?

They stated that anything giving bonus experience (Alters, Gloves, Clay Items etc...) will be negated during this event. Which means, you will NOT be able to get more xp with the items that normally give double the xp or so. Anything that gives bonus xp in ANY way is negated, so yes, I believe Gilded Alters will NOT work during this weekend.

 

No. You only get the extra xp by burying the bones. It says on the thread that it doesn't give extra xp on POH altars, or it'd be 1k xp per bone.

 

But does that mean that ecto'n will still work?

 

ecto is a minigame, so yes it would work

 

No, because ecto'n gives an exp bonus as well

 

This is the problem. For every yes, I get a no. For every no, a yes. >_<

 

Let me clear things up:

Gilded altars will still work, meaning they will still provide the x4 experience they always have. The BONUS xp will not apply to altars, in fact it will not stack with anything else that gives bonus experience.

When you bury a bone, on the other hand, you will get the bonus xp (something like x2.7 experience which drains over time)

In short, things that usually give extra experience will still give that extra experience, they just won't stack with the bonus xp you get for that weekend.
