My main banned for Account Selling/Sharing.

I kept getting hacked, then getting it locked and then unlocked and then hacked again.
I gave up completely for a month until yesterday I got it back again and I saw it was perm banned for account selling/sharing..

Normally I wouldn't even care.. but omg.
This has almost brought me to tears, seriously.

My main is in the top 1000, or was just recently. Over 2310+ total, 20 level 99s..

I just appealed saying I wasn't in control of the account at all.
When will I know if it's accepted/denied?
I sent the appeal in almost 24 hours ago, what is the normal time?

Any advice or storys to tell guys?

 

did you have any prior offenses at the time of the ban?

 

2-3 days is how long it usually took my appeals.

I had a few of my accounts banned for years. Not much of a story but whatever.

 

Thats sucks, how did the hacker have all your info?

 

I had a few minor blackmarks but they were all expired except for one for offencee language.

I don't know how he got all my info, I had some trojans which were just recently removed which I'm sure included some keyloggers.

So does 2-3 days for an appeal reply sound normal?
I wish it was quicker.. this is really depressing.

 

Ive had appeals pending on some accounts for over 3 weeks now.

 

Method of getting unbanned
1-post something mess-up like, my cat was on my account.
2-wait till next time runescape reset the blackmarks/when it get outdated again.
3-call jagex and complain like hell (I did this once)-phone number is on their website.

 

Yes, 2-3 days is normal - but tbh its your fault.
When you recovered ur account and it got hacked again, you should have run a virus scan to ensure that you werent being keylogged. Then only returned to trying to retrieve it.

Just send in an appeal stating the truth - and hope for the best

my advice is don't use the tutorials on the net. they are extremely generic and probably have been read by jagex themselves.

 

sorry to tell this to you but jagex doesn't care about appeals. Someone hacked an account of mine a few months ago and i ended up in the exact smae situation.

Both my accounts got banned for selling/trading, comment from mod " I was phishing or something, appeals got denied in 6days, didn't get no last chance appeal, i contacted them thru parents@jagex. they won't help

 

that really does fucking suck dude, just advice for the future, always be aware of what you download

 

That really sucks, If it had all those stats and in the top 1000- it would be over $300. (well depending on items and cash etc)
But yeah, I feel bad, hope you get it back
