Can anyone help me name this TV show?

There used to be a show on TV where the plot was this:

Everyone on earth blacked out at the same time, except one man at a baseball game. Everyone had a dream, and every dream took place at a set time and date, (time zones did have effect on this, however)....one man did not have a dream, and he said, "I must be dead, because I didn't have a dream...I must die by that day..."...and each episode, they find more and more video tapes from street cameras to piece the puzzle together as to what happened and why it happened.


The person I quoted is played by an Asian man, who is now a lead role on the hit series, "The Mentalist", which is somewhat a spin-off of Criminal Minds.


If anyone can tell me what this show was called, it'll be highly appreciated.

My dad told me about it, and I wanted to watch some of the episodes on the internet, because the show apparently went off the air before the show actually got to it's end
