Infected Lip Piercing :(

Hey,
I got angel bites done recently, and i believe they are infected.
I have 4 boils on the inside of my lip, its like two pairs of boils, right next to the inside of my piercing.
I am trying to research it but aren't getting much success with what to do.
Only thing i can find, is get water as hot as i can withstand, with salt in it. Problem is, how do i apply that to my lip? I can try holding like a glass of hot water to my lip but i don't know how much success i will have.

 

I'm pretty sure they mean swish the hot salty water in your mouth. I'm not sure what to do on the outside, other than putting Triple antibiotic ointment on there.

My friend said i should go to the doctors and they'll give me stuff to take to make them go away. I suppose i'll do that today/tomorrow.
But, i'll keep trying this water.

 

You could always take the other route.

By which I mean.... Take the piercings out.

 

It could be the materials used in the peircing, some people are alergic to silver etc.
But I'd definately go and see the doctor for further advice if I were you.

 

Yes, this is what happened to my gf's belly button when i bought her a belly ring, lol. It got infected - wasnt bad just went pussy. She took it out and it went away within 2 days. There is stuff the people who did it for you should give to you to keep it disinfected.

Consult a doctor, dont want this getting worse - especially around your mouth.

 

When I was stretching my ears, I used a wood stretch which didn't seem to like my ears and they got fucked up, I used TCP and it worked really well!

 

This really sucks, I hope you get better as soon as possible and take all suggestions you can get from people who know about this kind of stuff to help it as fast as possible.

I have an eyebrow piercing and I did the wrong thing by changing the piercing after 1 week instead of waiting the 6 weeks, sterilizing it and etc. I read up on stuff and people said they have changed their piercings the day they get them so I thought it would be okay and it has been so far, no infection.

Good luck on it though mate, I have no experience on this so I can't put any suggestions in, sorry.
