What's new?

I quit runescape when they took down bounty hunter or w.e. it was called to fix it up and make it impossible to xfer that way. I might come back to the game so I was wondering if anyone could fill me in on what's new? Like what are the new monsters to kill for loot, what are the new bosses etc. And also what are the new items that are good now?

Well theres a new skill coming out, and you just missed a crazy duping glitch.

 

New slayer monsters

God Wars Dungeon
Dupe glitch they just fixed
Double xp today

 

First three are correct.
Impling Update -> Glitch that was Fixed.
In addition to new UPCOMING skill, quests, items and includes F2P!
The Double XP is in March, so also upcoming.
New announcement stating raffle drawing for tickets to visit JageX Ltd. in England for winners of competitions and Raffle winners.

What's the new slayer monsters like? And whats the new loot from em now? Whats the new skill gonna be? Archaeology?

 

new items such as dragon plate, full helm, pick axe, dragon claws, new pvp armour, etc, can't say much about the new slayer monsters XD

and can someone fill me in with the double xp thing? never heard about it

New monsters are strykeworms, some of which drop the staff of light I believe.

 

The Staff of Light. Named Strykeworms and I've seen tons of picture of people hitting 70+ on them with Fire Spells.

 

Skrykworks require 83 slayer I believe. And they drop the Staff of Light which is now 16m+. I started at 10m. PvP and BH are in new forms now, no more crater pking, and the old wild was brought back in a new way. You don't get all of the enemies items. You get targets which let you get a higher possibility of getting their items. And you can no longer use the protect an extra item prayer. Too many changes to tell..
