Nope. I go on and off the game. My main is always there to play.

 

Of course im addicted but im not sure it is runescape, its something more global like timewasting or internet.

Edit:in order for you to get an idea its 3 am and i have to "wake up" at 8 am to go to school and give my final exams

I'm kinda addicted. I can't seem to quit Runescape. I tried already, like 4 times. I keep coming back.

 

I am also addicted, I quit back from the 10/12/07 update for about a year. Then i made a new pure and that took up 5 months. Quit for another 6 months. Then started up again 3 months ago and im at the point where I usually go to bed at 11:00 PM on school nights and I start playing at 9 or 8ish, and go sometimes until 2.

 

Used to be. Decided it wasn't actually fun, more of a come back for more game.
All you need to do is quit is to watch some more (insert first thing that comes to mind here) and just don't go and play. You have to want to quit, and you have to realise it's not actually fun.

 

Dude, as long as it isnt affecting your school work or relationship with peers and family there's no need to worry

 

Runescape will never be addictive as a drug or a cigarrete in any of my stages of addiction i just get bored and stop playing, i should ask a psychiatrist. I am just left with a laggy sleep latency and a moved sleeping schedule.

Edddit: ye its probably cause im on vacations and have no limits and have no life (i just dont consider that as an insult)

 

I can play a good 5 hours if I have the time. Schoolwork first, though. I wouldn't say I'm addicted. I love the game, but if I had to I could stop playing.

 

So how long do you play when not on vacation mate?

 

Hmm, i'm only addicted after i break.

play 2-3 months - then take a 6 week break. I'm still active though, party & BBall it up on those sunny days

I play runescape when I'm bored. I was addicted somewhat when I first started playing runescape though, but that passed after a year or two went by. As Gohan said, your account will always be there to play.

 

If you see what happens to those who are truly addicted, you'll run from the game without a second glance. Two of my friends should max out in the next month or so - I barely talk to them anymore, but I have to wonder whether they've realized that in their achievement, they will negate the very same. They will have "beaten" the game, and will soon shove it aside like any other.

 

I don't think I'm addicted as even when I do play RS, it's only for a couple of hours max. I use to play a bit more but I didn't play at all last year, and this year I've been pking on my f2p pure once or twice a week.

I think you're only addicted if you say you're going to "quit", if you weren't addicted, you'd just gradually stop playing until the point of not playing at all.
