    PayPal chargebacks?

Hey, I'm back from a LONNNNNNNG absence from the "market scene" here on sythe. I'm trying to figure out this new/old idea i've seen going around.

I remember last year the only way not to be charged back was to claim and cancel.

Recently im seeing alot of "GIFT" payments being acceptable. Is that because these cant be charged back?

Someone please explain the "GIFT" method. Thank you.

Paypal gifts can easily be charged back if the person knows how.

No, he still has some chargebacks. For larger trades it's best to use WU, mail, etc.

Well no shit. Usually if it's not a very well trusted member just make sure the money is coming from their actual balance and not through a card and you should be good. But always try to pick the higher repped to sell to.

Naturally. Well it gets harder to pick reputable members if you're doing pin sales. Most of the pin buyers make a sythe account just for that purchase.

    PayPal chargebacks?

Gifts CAN be charged back if the sender puts it as an unauthorized claim (meaning that someone 'hacked' them and sent you the cash).

Plus, Gift payments raise suspicion to Paypal often. I found that as a seller many of the gift payments sent to me were actually held temporarily by Paypal to do "investigations" and sometimes even put a Limitation on my account. At first they care less, but when the total transactions go 300$+ they start to get pussy, especially if you just joined.
