RWT bans still the same?

I know when Jagex introduced all of their new anti-RWT policies, they claimed any RWTing would be met with an instant perma-ban.

I know several friends who were let of with a temp ban aftering rwting recently. did jagex loosen their policy or is there a difference between buying gold here and from a chinese farm, or perhaps some other reason.

I'm considering buying gold from a well-known seller on the site and am trying to figure out where i stand if i get caught

 

Every ban i have received from RWT has been 10 days.

I saw people posting a while back saying they only got 12 days. Haven't seen any perms in the longest time.

 

If they are doing that they should consider unbanning people that were permbanned for rwt. I had an account that i trained legitly to lvl 92, had no previous offences, bought 500m worth of gold. perm ban. LOL
