The duping glitch - how it worked, and why.

^Pretty sure, Jagex going crazy with the bug testing department to find all deposit Xstall glitches.

 

Now that it's out I'm guessing atleast 1 more glitch will be discovered before they're all patched

 

Thats a pretty believable statement, makes complete sense. As to if I were to try to think of it, I would have never came up with that. As other have said, if I hadn't been sleeping I would have been the greedy moron I am on this game and have tried to do it myself haha. But for me, thank god I was not awake and avoiding yet another mass ban on the way.

 

It's jagex's stupid mistake why ban people >.<

 

It's called bug abuse for a reason. Just because jagex made an error dosen't mean everybody can go and take advantage of it. Although I do admit, the glitch was pretty cool. Thanks for posting this, I wonder if anybody got away with duping hundreds of millions of gp worth of dragon bolts...

 

I wasnt stupid enough to sell or keep the bolts, I just alched them

 

can someone tell me how recent this recent glitch is? cause this first i heard of it and if it is new it means theres gonna be a crash in the price of bolts but then it will slowly rise, itll be a good merchant investment

 

this may happen with bank tabs too... I once got 2 boots of lightness

Never heard of it, but sounds cool. RuneScape is full of flaws, it's so awesome tbh!

 

I figured as much, it works with any crafting skill where items are created and destroyed - smithing, where ores are destroyed and bars are deposited, etc.

Whoever told others about this is a fucking moron.

 

Dupes are great, but too risky. If youre gonna do them, dont go overboard. Peronally, I would have duped 50M worth MAX.
