Should I ruin my voider?

I'm highly contemplating getting the Hand-Cannon, and I have not done the pre-quests for it.

Doing these quests will get me ~55 defense, from 42.

My stats are:

60 attack
69 strength
42 defense
86 ranged
44 prayer
50 magic
74 hp

The hand-cannon has it's pros and cons...

It can explode if your FM level isn't high O_O
It hits really high, higher than Dark bow (it can hit 60-50, I've seen it done)
It's hard to obtain



So....should I go for it? I am currently botting the smithing and fire making stats to do the quest, as I am already 99 hunter with 21M exp.

If I do this, should I stay 55-60 defense or get 70 defense?

Go for it, it's a great upgrade.

 

I wouldn't since you can never go back if you don't like it.

 

Got for 99 range + Hand Cannon. It sounds like a lethal combo. I'd keep the defence in the 40's at least. 45 max.

 

What he's saying is he WANTS to use the Hand Cannon, BUT, if he does ALL quests required for it, it will automatically give him 55 Defence because of the XP rewards from the quests.

I would say try it out on a friends account who has it before you ruin your pure. Because if you don't like it, theres no going back :/

 

If you do it, and don't like it turn your account into a range tank than 99 def + range

 

99 def = no
70 def is my max.
