Straight forward topic,

Mains VS Pures

What would you choose and why?

I have a 120 main, with 60M, firecape, torso, four 99's, which i am trying to sell at the moment because I give up on it and want to pk all day on a pure because they are fun.

What's your opinion?

 

Mains can do more things. Mains can get kills only at higher levels, when pking.

Pures are restricted but are fun to pk with, and you get more attention.

 

My main ive just given up on. I havnt actually played on it for more than an hour since November of 08. My Granite Mauler/Ranger/Blitzer is alot more fun to use.

 

I prefer main; not use to pure pking as I've never really been dedicated to even train a pure up to use it

 

i probably prefer mains because they can make a lot of money at gwd and green drags but pures are always fun to pk with at times.

 

I think pures are great fun. Personally, I gave up on mains years ago. I play this game solely for the PVP perspective so therefore a pure is the perfect build for me. I think mains aren't very fun pking as I consider defence fights extremely boring, especially if yous are even stated (e.g. 80/80/80).

 

this, and also they can train faster with better armour and stuff

 

maybe you should consider a def pure?

that is what my main is, 40 def ftw

i personally dislike pures, maybe its cause most people i have encountered that have high level pures are dicks, e.g. any time i attack them they run screaming no armour fight...

alot of 1 defence pures are really 'losers' who typically are known for flaming and stuff. Everytiem I pk on my main i hear pures saying 'gtfo bh nerd' or 'l2pk' and stuff.

Im not like that =]

 

Mains. This is because they have a lot more option and can do more quests, skills and exploring.

Yes, pures would be fun but personally, I haven't PKed much at all and they would be boring for me as I would always die. Never really gotten into it.

 

Pures, needs more expierience to pk on pures, [pk good]
and it's a lot harder to train.

 

Main pking is fun. If your good, otherwise it would waste alot of money.

 

Keep your main because you'll never be able to pk all day on a pure - it's not possible. Unless, of course, you merchant all day, too. You won't make nearly as much money as you think because, no matter how good you are, you'll be rushed, be lucked, be killed. Sorry to give you such a bleak outlook, but it's the truth.

 

A main, the drops are better, no restrictions, and you have 60m to fuck around with.

 

Pures are more exciting to win with, but a main can stop a pure quickly.

 

Mains, Pures aren't all that fun nowadays.

 

I would have to go with mains. You can also have a large range to PK in if you have a high level main, so you can still end up killing pures.

 

There is always something to do with mains.

 

I prefer my main because of the fact that you can do more.. however i like my pure because its more enjoyable to pk on.

 

ive played/trained pretty much every type of account theres is main/f2p pure/p2p pure/skiller and out oof them all my favourite type of account is a zerker pure, i find em the best cause u get option of reasonably good pkin and reasonably good/fast training, unfortunately tho u cant do things like gwd...

and zerker pures only work if u have good stats like 90+ range/str/mage
