my firemaking from 85-99 help! and how to make money???

first of all i have a woodcutting skill cape and now i want it trimed so my closed skill to 99 is my firemaking it is 85 atm and i want to know what logs should i use to get to 99 without costing a fortune but still getting good xp. also i have 20 mill in bank and i want to know what a good item to invest in is or a money making guide for free id like some more cash. THANKS!!!

 

If you buy maples it will take about 3M and 70 hours from your current point to get 99 FM.
Anything higher than maples will only give slightly more XP, yet take an insane amount more cash.

 

Maples will be the fastest cost efficient way.

i never asked about profiting with firemaking! and maples sound good to me thats what ive been using but was wandering if there was anything better to use

 

If you want it fast, then burn the best logs you can obviously. As for money, kill green dragons. The bones are very expensive nowadays and you can make some real profit off them.

As for cash, try flipping or Drqgon Hunting. Or, if you wanted another 99 you could go for Hunting or just cut, cut more, and cut some more Yews.

Flipping is buying something a certain per entage above the low g.e. Price and selling that same percentage undef maximum g.e. Price

Willows are cheap. Very cheap. 8/9 ea.

To cut the price down, get a horn from Barbarian Assault. Double exp.

 

Willows. It's 9gp each in the GE. I suggest you go use a calculator and figure out exactly how many willows you need.

 

No matter what, you won't make any profit off fire making. You'll be burning away all your money.

also i wont use willows becasue they are cheap yes but the xp is probly terible and i have enough money to spend on higher logs like maple thats what im going to do

1-25 Normal logs are your only option until level 15. The best place to get normal logs is the Lumbridge forest. You can cut, drop, burn, and repeat.

25-40 Oak logs will be the next wood you get to burn. One of the best places to cut oak logs to burn is east of the Draynor bank. There are only four trees there, but since each tree gives multiple logs, it will turn out easier.

40-50 Now, you can try your luck on willow logs. An excellent place is south of Rimmington. There are ten trees ready to be cut. You may choose to carry on with willows until lvl 70 as they are the most cost effective. This is recommendable for F2P. However if you have completed the Tai Bwo Wannai Trio quest you may want to pay 100 trading sticks to access the teak trees in their grove which have a cut/burn rate similar to willows.

50-70 Now, you can burn maple logs. Members can access an abundance of maple trees north of seers on the road heading to the Fremennik cities. (If you are F2P, willow logs will be more cost-effective to burn for exp, but maple logs can be purchased from members if you like.) Maples are your best bet, less than 3m for 85-99. Another easy skill to get trimmed capes is fletching. For money making, you might want to go with buying magic amulets/raw lobsters. Good time to invest in those items. Also hunter items, they're going to increase in price because of the new update, as well as the new clothing.
