Need some help in installing Adobe Photoshop Cs4.

I've downloaded the trial and here is what happens after I install and open the program. If it helps, I also have Adobe Cs1 installed.

Are you running 64 bit or 32 bit ? I would suggest completely uninstalling cs4, and when you reinstall, make sure the directory is as follows: (assuming your 64 bit), 32 bit wll be x64
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\

 

I am using 32 bit

 

should i just uninstall cs1?

 

I had this problem once upon a time, but here's what I did

Remove it using CCleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com/)

Download this: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cs4clean.html
Extract, run, restart, reinstall.

That's what I did, and it worked for me.

 

I'm pretty sure;

1. The installation wasn't successful, even if it didn't show an error.

2. Some files are in a different directory that CS4 can't find. Re-install all in the same folder.
