Upcoming WoW Content

In addition to the removal of several trade goods restrictions, there is some new content on the horizon to keep us ready for Cataclysm, it seems.

PvP: Honor changes to make PvP gear easier to obtain, Wintergrasp balance changes

PvE: 2 New Mounts: Wooly Rhino and Blazing Hippogryph, the retaking of Gnomeregan's Surface, Ruby Sanctum Raid in 3.3.5, 3.3.3 PTR

Anyways, an interesting change to frozen orbs is that they can be exchanged in certain amounts for trade goods such as Eternal Fires, Crusader Orbs, and even a tailor-only flying craftable flying carpet (not the ones already available.) Since the 3.3 LFG overhaul, Frozen Orbs were at the baseline auction price of 5g. Now, with this information, Frozen Orb prices are already skyrocketing back to their pre-3.3 price of 30g or more each before the patch has even hit.

With this said, are you looking forward to what will probably be the last raid of Wrath?

 

.... I sold 10 frozen orbs for 50g on my server the other day... -.- everytime i sell stuff like that they update with something like this.

 

Seems like Blizzard is trying to delay the release of Cataclysm.

My guess is that drops in Ruby Sanctum will be additional tier pieces.

 

Figures. Blizzard is the worst with release dates. Games like Starcraft II, and Diablo III aren't probably coming out until 2011+. Ghost even got cancelled.

To make old content easier to blaze through for new players so they can raid current content.

To answer your question, no. I don't think WoW will place a limit on trading gold, ever.

I think a update like this is definetly needed. All classes look the same, geared out with the maximum badge gear from farming heroics, apart from actual decent raiders. Heroics are more boring than i can ever remember especially when every tank takes no damage. Also im not pr0 so i havent touched half of the stuff in ICC.

Gnomer should be good i hope. Doesnt this provide the horde with a vacancy for a city for them?

 

Another raid after the Lich King is stupid and seems to contravene the entire expansion's purpose.

 

Not really seeing as Gnomeregan being taken over is leading upto the cataclysm. So maybe its sooner then we think?
