Necklaces with Crosses.

So, i saw this guy with the most awesome christian cross/catholic cross necklace. It had like big wooden (i assume wooden) beads on it. That had one like a light cream colour, then one a dark bead. They were quite big, then it had a big cross on it.

I really like it and want one similiar. If anyone knows of any cool looking cross necklaces, then please post a picture or post a link? Or even if theres a specific name for that sort of necklace or something then please tell me?

And i don't think it was a 'rosary' necklace. Since thats what lots of people told me and i looked it up and couldn't find anything similiar to what i saw a guy wearing.

Joseg1320, thanks but thats not really the sort i was looking for. The beads were big and round, not that oval shape. And the colour went "dark brown, a light cream colour, dark brown, light cream colour" etc. Oh and the cross was metal, not wooden.

I don't think i'll ever find the same necklace, but i want to at least try hahah . Even if anyone can find a necklace like i'm referring to, and i can put the cross on it myself.

The necklace i saw had beads all around it, sorry.

And i'm looking for a cross that doesn't have jesus on it, i don't like jesus crosses. And i want it to actually look like a cross, like, a longerr stick bit at the bottom.

I actually found two that look somewhat similar to what you're describing.

Not to flame.. but necklaces with religious symbols are despicable. I absolutely loathe religion so i guess my opinion is pretty one-sided, but showcasing your beliefs in the vein of religion is disgustingly indulgent and mindless.

 

I don't see how you come to that conclusion in your last statement.
But, i don't believe in any religion, i just think crosses look cool. And, a lot of people get a bit intimidated by me because i have facial piercings, and long black hair. So, wearing a cross would also make me less intimidating, since religious people are like anti-violence etc. But as i stated earlier, the only reason i want one is because 'i think' it looks cool.

Religious people are 'anti-violent'? Last time i checked, the majority of war, genocide, and poverty is religion-oriented. Take a look at the Gaza strip, and the middle east in general. Its completely war-torn in the name of their god(s).

I really can't be bothered arguing, considering i don't care about religion and therefore don't know too much about it.
Either way, whats it matter to you with what i do? It affects you in no way, considering you are never going to see me walking around wearing the necklace.

Hmm.. what has more impact on the world, genocide- or gang wars? Im going to go with genocide. Even so, Gang wars may not ignite in the name of a god, but im sure gang members have religious backgrounds.

To answer your question about how this affects me: It doesn't. You made your lust for religious icons on necklaces public, i simply commented.. that's what happens when you post in a forum- you expect reception.

 

To be fair, Caballero, the thread was originally created for him to find the necklace he wanted, or something close to it.
I don't recall him asking for someone to bash his religious outlook or morals, but I could be mistaken.

And to keep this on topic:
Tyson, why don't you just go to an arts and crafts store and purchase material similar to what you want and make it yourself?
It'd have a bit more sentimental value, plus, you'd be getting exactly what you wanted in a way.
