Main keeps getting recovered

I stopped playing rs then i decided to start again so I log in and my password had been changed, I recover the account with all the info I have. I have the first months worth of information written down. The thing is the person that hacked the account keeps recovering it, how can I prevent them from recovering the account over and over I tried changing the recovery's and I have it set to my email. I've also formatted my hard drive so i know its not a spyware/key logger infection.

Once you recover it you could go to account management - Recover stolen account and then you recover it so your recoveries get deleted then you set new ones and you should be fine?

 

Make the account members. If you have the p2p info, you win, since Jagex will emphasize money over anything.

 

I have the P2P information and I do set new recovery's every time I recover it.

 

Then the other person must obviously know the same information as you. Either you told someone all the info, or you have a virus/keylogger of some sort.

 

Generally if you make an account a member by credit card, you're safe.

I don't know what your questions are, but is it possible that if someone knows you really well, they'll know your answers?

Answer to Question 2?
Answer to Question 3?
Answer to Question 4?
Answer to Question 5?

Then just right down the answer for each one somewhere (unless you can remember it). That way absolutely no one can know the answer to your questions, since theres just no hints!

 

By the sounds of it the person recovering the account must know just as much if not more information than you. Perhaps he knows starting passwords to the account and maybe even the first membership information. When it comes to P2P information the older the more jagex value it in terms of the recovery process. Did you purchase this account a while back? Maybe the old owner decided you don't play anymore so he just recovered it with all his old information.

 

Be careful it doesnt end up getting locked. Actually, if it does get locked, the person recovering it may give up and hopefully you'll be in the clear!

 

Lock it first. Then in your lock appeal, explain to Jagex that someone else keeps recovering it. Provide ALL information. They'll prevent the other guy from recovering it, hopefully.
