I'm actually shocked, where did i advertise?

The only thing i can think of that i advertised was to help Bring Me The Horizon with his Rogue that he was going to make, so i sent him a link via his PM to a website which is dedicated to Rogues itself.
If this is the case of what you call advertising, then i accept the consequences, however... I did flame him also via a PM, and he reported me for that cause he caused an infraction upon me for spamming which was his fault for not correctly interpreting my abbreviation. That infraction was reversed.

Also, i have been on these forums for a good 3 years, I have no intention of breaking the rules. People who will hold a grudge against me and who have friends in higher places such as mods or w/e who would abuse their powers at their friends request might just be becoming a problem. I see many people getting infracted for pathetic stuff recently. Stuff that shouldnt be even considered to be viable for infraction.

Ive seen in another dispute, all the people who are active, and who try and help... get reported for spamming and shit. All the trusted people just getting a straight ban for something which is quite clearly a mistake.

My point is, if the ban i recieved for the advertising to BMTH was inappropriate, then i dont see the point in trying to help other people.
But whatever, this is just a forum what one person says cant make much of a difference.

I banned you for the advertising and it was in relation to the pm you sent to BMTH. As far as he made it look, he did not want the pm in the first place. I will have an administrator review this though. I personally don't think you meant any harm by it.

 

Unban him - this isn't advertising.
