    I am unsure if this is the correct place to post this, but I couldn't find a better one.



    Hi.

    Ordered services with VirtGold two days ago - full void on a 41 defence account, with 99 range and 95 magic.

    Before putting my order through, I made sure to read through all of their Terms of Services in their discord. In here, it nowhere states that I needed to specify about defence being trained prior to my order of full void.

    So, as a result and in compliance with their ToS - in my order I did not think to specifiy that I didn't want their worker to train my defence.

    But to make things as *obvious* as possible, I geared the account in full dhide with a magic shortbow before giving them information to the account. The attack style was on rapid - again, I was not expecting this to be changed.

    Unfortunately, the worker who was on my account ruined my account and trained me to 44 defence using long range with a magic shortbow.

    I opened a complaint within their discord in which I spoke to Ichicoro - one of the assistant managers. Here he told me that because I didn't mention I didn't want defence trained, it was therefore not the fault of the worker, and there would be nothing they could do.

    We have kept the matter extremely civil the entire process. Neither party has been rude or aggressive. But I would like to hear an external opinion on the matter.

    VirtGold's major arguing point is that 'it wasn't clear' that my account was a pure account. This is because it was 50 attack, 47 strength, 41 defence (one quest away from 42 defence). However I would argue that an account with 41 defence, low combats, and 99 range/mage is quite obviously a pure account and not a main, and not a valid reason for the ruined account, as it does not state anywhere on their discord that I need to give this information prior to the order.


    We have both agreed to bring the dispute here, to Sythe, so that we can get an external opinion on the matter.

    No one has been 'scammed' or anything like that. We are just looking to settle this fairly. As it currently stands, I have not received any compensation in regard to the ruined account.




    I have let them know I am making this post, and will link it to them once I have made it so they can confirm.

    Hello, Ichicoro here. I'll post screenshots of the ticket.

    The customer ordered a set of Void, and provided our worker with a gear setup with a magic shortbow. The worker used long range during the minigame to hit mobs farther away, which leveled his defense.

    Not once did the customer state the word pure or ask to not train defense levels, and to my perspective on the stats of the account I personally wouldn't have guessed it was a pure either.

    We do not believe our worker did anything wrong in this situation, and while unfortunate, I do believe the customer should have stated the requirements prior to ordering the service.

    We are happy to oblige whatever outcome is reached here by a 3rd party.

    Just a note, customer requested I remove his discord avatar from pics because it was an irl pic. I've also removed RS usernames from the pics.

    I have reviewed this case and discussed it with a fellow Staff member.
    We do not require service providers to ask what kind of restrictions an account has.
    The order (Pest Control) included combat training and it was not brought up that defense could not be trained. We can not blame Virtgold or the worker for training this.
    Virtgold will therefore not have to refund anything or compensate for the account devaluation.

    Regardless, I'm sorry your account got ruined and Virtgold is free to offer any kind of compensation they wish but are not obligated to do so.
