If America wanted oil, they would of bought it like they always have.

The war in Afghanistan hasn't netted the US any 'free' oil..

I'm glad, iv'e showed this video to many many people as for i am Muslim. people Believe All Muslims are bad and are terrorist etc..

I used to be teased to be Muslim, i can now gladly say i don't get teased anymore from the people who watched this video.

I'm sorry whoever says that 9/11 was all our governments doing must be out of their mind. Does our government do stupid shit and try and cover it up? Yes. All the time, but this is just redicilous to think our government would kill our own civilians. With the media we have today this would have easily been exposed or leaked with concrete evidence. The media is good at uncovering stories and often too good at it. What happened on 9/11 was nothing more than a terrorist attack. We have had dozens of attempted attacks in the last few years are those also plotted by our government?

Also most of you are saying money is the prime motive behind these attacks. While money is a big part of all day to day activities and including most crimes our country is trillions of dollars in debt. We know we are never going to be able to pay that back so we continue to buy on "borrow" money. We can purchase literally everything we want without ever paying it back. 9/11 was nothing more than a terrorist attack by a group of anger individuals.

 

I'm guessing he had the idea and that's why he closed Guantanamo Bay

 

Good discussion going on, I'm findng out alot from this.
I'm willing to read views from both sides with an open mind, although I believe that the evidence suggests that it was planned.
The planes should have been shot down long before they reached the WTC, why weren't they?
Why, out of all the cameras round the pentagon, was only footage from a camera that records in frames released?
Why on the released footage from the pentagon, in which you only see the nose of the plane, does the nose not resemble the nose of a 747?
As for would Bush really sacrifice so many of his own people for oil...
Well what relation are these people to Bush, they live in the same country and thats it. I doubt he would know any of them personally, so if he actually believed this could all be covered up forever, it's no loss to him.
I think that just due to the size of the attack, it couldn't stay covered up. They have made mistakes, and people are picking up on them.

 

No matter what your stance, people who tease others because of Religion, Race, Sex, etc are fucking morons.

Anyway, I have a hard time believing 9/11 was "staged" or "sanctioned' by Bush Administration. Sure we wanted to finish Saddam off, but we didn't need to blow up 2 towers and the Pentagon wall to start it. We have so much power we could go to war without an event like that.

What happened was these guys, aka jealous of America Extremists decided to attack one of the best countries in the world. Then it was too late after that tower fell to turn back and now were fucking them up.

And those that watch Michael Moore's films are just...meh. He's something...


And to the first poster: Since when can we remotely fly a big 747? And no one ever thinks about a plane flying into a friggen building when they go off course Pre-9/11. Now we would, but then doubtful it would cross their mind. Thats why the fighter jets weren't there a second after they veered off course. Everyone makes mistakes, nothing is perfect. Hence the whole 9/11 fiasco.

Correct, power doesn't give a plausible reason, they needed an excuse.
And when a plane has gone largely off track and is heading anywhere near the towers, it should have been shot down. Jets were sent out which went the WRONG way, how could anybody be so incompetent

 

But remember, the mindset PRE-9/11 was not that "Oh, a plane is off course, shoot it down so it doesnt hit a building". Now it would be but still, not back then.

 

No they may not have thought that, but still a plane drastically off course is potentially dangerous and therefore should have been shot down. The fact the jets were released proves they were 'intending' to shhot it down, just they went the wrong way.

 

I don't believe a government could honestly do that, but in saying that convincing arguments have been made to prove its possible and no arguments have been made to disprove them. Not to my knowledge anyway.
