Gone and Died

All the words we once spoke here,
All the things we once held dear,
Unafraid of death or dying,
God knows if were only trying,

Hold your breath and count to ten,
We'd be together til the end,
Take your lies and run away,
Now's my time to seize the day,

Waters rising above your head,
Drowning under thoughts of dread,
Heavy thougts that fill your mind,
Your own pity makes you blind,

Turn your head when the sunset dies,
A voiceless voice let's out silent cries,
A dark day brings a darker night,
But there you stand overcome with fright,
