    Yeah, but the owner can't even code scripts..

    So more than 1/2 of the scripts (in my opinion) won't work.

    Guys, it's not a "Chinese guy," that's updating it. "Some Chinese guy" is simply an alias of Qauters to avoid legal action by Jagex.

    I don't get why Quaters said he's not writing the scripts any more, but he also said he's not being sued. So what's his motive for "quitting."

    Guys, speculation is useless.
    The description of the new owner is strange, but I think if Quaters was worried about security he would have figured out a different way to do what he did.

    He is taking steps to prevent Jagex from going after RSBot, in any shape or form. He should move RSBot away to HK. Its still in Germany.. which brings me to my next point, they are not in Netherlands and Intergenia AG (their isp) is a bitch, so they can get ripped apart anytime.

    Also any direct download to the software is basically warez, so he can not index (which means, a page with a link to the software), so they can get screwed over that as well.

    That's what it will come to, if both RSBot and iBot go down (highly unlikely).
    The mild challenge of running SCAR makes it difficult for noobs, luckily.
