Why The PS3>Xbox360

Alright, i ps3 Finally got the ps3 here is why i think it is better than Xbox.

Pro's
Sony has space to make it even better. (As in games and updates)
PSN Is Free(Paid version is coming sometime this summer which is so-pose to be faster than the free.
Silent - Very quiet game console
Good exclusive games(un like Microsoft because all there games also come out for pc)
Bluray dvds
No Lag - you can say it lags all you want i have seen none other than when a guy quit out.
Alot more advanced accessories.
No big ass power cords ect.
Failure rate of 11%

Con's
Controller takes some time to get use to.
Seems to get warmer in the back than i would like.

I have owned Xbox 360 since it came out.
-It Lacks FPS(Dont give me Cod that game is a glitching shit)
-Breaks all the time(Since i have owned it, It has broken once a year atleast list of things bellow. Xbox has a failure rate of 54%!)
4 times RROD
1 time Would not Read Any Disc
2 times black screen
-The mic breaks all the mother fucken time i have gone though 3.
Costumer support are a bunch of dumb asses
They charge you almost the same price for a new xbox to fix rrod after warranty when it is pretty much there fault.
Tons of hackers and shit.

 

This Is Horrible. Your Only Picking Ps3 Because Your Xbox Experiences HAve Resulted In Failure. What About Games Such As Left 4 Dead And MAss Efect2 And Fable 2. Your Bias Comments Ruin Your Support.

 

No the xbox was poorly put together. There is only a few good game titles. Every one mods lobbys ect. Face it its a block of shit.

 

Ps3 is far superior. The cost prooves it.

 

I wouldn't even say halo 3 is a pro for xbox, that game is gay. Only good halo was the first one and 2nd one.

 

Con 4 ps3 is 42% players for 82% of FPS's are nearly at a pro level, vs 360's 21% for 98%.

 

Might aswell add to the playstation 3 that it already has full hd, without having to get a new console and or pay extra.

Controllers already have rechargable batteries in it.
Controllers are motion sensored (can turn the controller like a wii).
All have standard hardrives in them, no memorys cars like the arcade xbox... and the standard hardrive is bigger.

And if you think about it, the amount of money you'd have to pay for the 360 to have the playstation features, the playstation would probably work out cheaper or the same;
Aka, Buying a blueray drive
Buying a bigger hardrive
Buying the rechargable batteries
Paying for xbox live
If you don't have an HD xbox, paying for a new console
Buying a motion sensored controller

 

You seem you claim your opinion based on the fact that you had a bad experience with the Xbox 360. I could sit here and argue every single point back and forth, but it's all about a matter of personal preference. You like pretty games that lack gameplay, I like games that have good graphics (supposedly sub-par in your mind) that have excellent game play. All these threads ever turn out to be are giant flame wars that no one wins.

Everyone? Because everyone knows how to mod and the inner-workings of an Xbox. Your logic is flawed.

The cost proves it? Because something is more expensive it is superior? I'll sell you a piece of paper for $5,000. It's expensive it has to be superior.

Yet you went out and bought the game, to come to the assumption, so someone did their job.

Because everyone loves motion sensor technology right? Well, to stop your bickering, Project Natal will make PS3's motion sense look like a child's toy. How is it coming with a hard drive a pro? The 360 has interchangeable hard drives which allow for more options rather than you being stuck with what you bought. Blu-ray DVD plays are cheap now, so that's not a selling point. Xbox Live is superior to PSN or whatever it is called. You don't need to buy a new console for a hard drive. Get some facts before you try and talk trash.

You claim you play games for their graphics yet you bring up backward compatibility. You sir, are a dooche.

 

PS3 is shit, and the 360 is also shit, go get a pc that can run some kick ass games. PC FTW

 

Get your fact rights, you can change the hard drive, you simple unscrew the one screw at the bottem and pull it out, reinsert another.

As for backwards compatibility, yeh the Xbox does have that on the ps3.

As for blu-ray players bieng quite cheap, you still have to buy it, takes more room ect, so shut that one.

And I never said everybody loves motion sensors, I simply said that the PS3 has it. As for Xbox's new motion sensors when it comes out, it's a bit late isn't it? Couldn't they do it from the start? Also I believe were talking about the present not the future.

 

In all fairness, I believe Microsoft started putting "jasper chips" inside of the 360's to make it's failure less likely and prevent overheating.
HOWEVER, this was done far too late, and most people that previously had a 360 have suffered the RRoD.
So if you want to get technical, the cost of buying the first 360, and then buying a second (or for that matter, maybe even a third) would exceed the cost of a ps3 which has an extremely far less failure rate even with the introduction of Microsoft's Jasper and Falcon chips.
And even if your 360 hasn't broken down and you bought it before the new Jasper Chips were installed, the price you've paid for LIVE up to date has already surpassed the ps3's box+online costs.

However, this is a debate about which system is superior, not which is more economic-friendly.
The Ps3 does have its flaws with internet play, but then again, that's based mostly upon your own ISP.
I personally have had three Ps3's in my possession (One went off to college with my brother, a 40gb model, and one went to my cousin as a Christmas present, the 20gb model. I currently have the 120gb set up in my living room)
I've had not one problem with any of them. No crashes, no overheating, no freezed games.... The only issue I've had is the occasional lost connection on online play.


So overall, I do like the Ps3 better, but it's a biased opinion.
I'm not afraid to say that I do like playing multiplayer better on the 360 though.
But even with that being said... the games I enjoy playing online are multi-platform anyways.

Oh, and this will be sure to spark up the angry side of furious 360 fanboys...

LittleBigPlanet > Fable
God of War > Halo
Metal Gear Solid > Left 4 Dead
Infamous > Mass Effect
Flower < Castle Crashers

Oh, hey, look....360 got one!
But seeing as Castle Crashers will be releasing for the ps3 here soon regardless.... heheheh.

 

PS3 is better even though its more expensive.
