Txting pins free (help)

I read some places that if you have unlimited txting then you can get rs pins for free. is this true?

No, but i hear you can go to like a sprint store, or any cell phone store, and text from there then forward yourself the pin.

That is true, people I know have done this.
However, I wouldn't text your phone number and have that kind of evidence left behind. Writing them down on a piece of paper may be more practical.
