Post count does not matter?

Anyone can scam whether it be members or moderators.

 

I don't believe you need a "lot" of posts to be trusted, it's just more hard to think someone with 3 posts and is very trusted. However if they have like 50 quality posts, then I'd feel more comfortable. I don't try to spam, but I've always liked having a big post count.

 

I agree, it's a combination that matters.

 

Apparently 500 post count still means you can get banned.

 

I've been here for a few months now, only 60ish posts, I do browse the forums a lot, but not much for a poster. You can look at my posts per day its less then .5 now.

 

hmm for me Post Count doesn't matter as some people in this thread said that they can be achieved easily if you give focus posting in this forum, but the big factor for me is the Vouches and the History of the person I'm trading with, and about the vouches I dont care if you have 20+ vouches came from Free training when I'm buying a Pin..It should be seperate..because most of new members use the Skill Training Section to get Vouches then go to Membership Selling Section/Account Section then scammed there..

 

It's sort of ironic the fact the author of the thread is now banned with 500 posts..

 

I'm not sure, I'm pretty known around this site and highly trusted. I believe if you've got like 100+ vouches and been here a while odds are you're pretty legit.

I was scammed by somebody who joined in 07 and had 500 post count.

It doesn't matter.

 

I'd say this:
I'd rather trust an active member with 125 posts and 20 vouches then a Guru with 10.

 

if I see someone with like 1-1.5k+ post count, im not gonna care if he has 0 vouches, ill trust him.

 

You're an idiot. Anyone can go into the rs forums and just spam it up and get 1500 post count within a week or two and you can get scammed by them... Vouches over post count any day.. And even people with tons and tons of vouches can still scam you.

 

I don't think post count is important tbh...vouches + how he is looked upon on the forums imo

 

I think of it the other way.
10 vouches isn't bad, but guru takes a while.
Why would someone scam $3 for a pin and lose their account that they've been working on for over a year? (prob grandmaster)?

 

I am the same way.
I barley ever trade and when I do, I try to make it worth while....Post count means nothing, I can be guru in only a month or so. Would you trust me if I were to do that?

Always check vouches, and if the person has stated that they don't usually collect vouches, get references!!!!!

So your saying someone with 500 posts who joined in November 2009 is more trustworthy with someone of 50 quality posts who join in April 2005?

Yeah you shouldn't look at one factor, sure if they only have 1 post there was a big chance they got banned before, the most important is vouches, and also this is another reason you want your post count up, is the bigger your post count is the bigger your special place is. there is a picture of that somewhere.

Post count can be gained by "Spamming" So the only way to get Trusted is to get vouches.
