    God and the Afterlife

I have many ways to "disprove" God I dont want a flame war and am not here to troll but ill post 2 examples of why he CANNOT exist.

    1. Time was something invented by man, but it does exist and we simply put the name "time" to it.

God is all knowing, he has to be, he is simply god. We are put on this earth to trial through our lives in order to see if we are sinful or not and once our great test is done we will go to one of the many places after death dependent upon ourselves.

If God knew the future, he would already himself know that you will choose the path of sin or not, so the test therfor would be obsolete seeing as you already have a defined path into the future.

    2. God is "good" If God existed and it was "Good" then evil wouldn't exist, and if evil does exist that means god is able to "delete" it but if he isn't willing is he actually good? Why must we suffer? God doesn't want us to suffer so that means he can't delete evil?

If he is unable or unwilling to delete evil then why call him a god at all?

Note: if i used "him" as a reference to god I dont mean to put a gender on it, im just referring to it.

A sad thing about religion and science is scientists can proove it, religious people will state that we cant disproove it. Here's a graph for you religious people out there

time is unmeasurable, so it couldn't have been invented by man, a measurable species. the word, 'time', was, but that's a WHOLE different topic.

you need to realize that there are more versions of god than the christain [mainstream] one. not every god was stated to be 'good', or all knowing, or all powerful. applying an entire point to just one version of god, in hopes of applying it to all versions, is just invalid.

btw, you can't prove that something doesn't exist.....

Your first reason is stupid, it's a similar concept with having a child. Your parents created you and named you. In this case its like naming someone else's child. There are many ways to disprove your second reason, although like what you said there is no actual physical proof backing it more as logic. It could just be that God set up the universe/world and what happens to it from there on is our choice. Think about it, we've already set up government, charities, law enforcement, military, etc. Most of us help each other, sure they all have their flaws (government) and there is still corruption but think about how bad the world would be if we didn't have all this. Not only that, not to be crude or anything, without murder, disease, and warfare the population would be so great that we wouldn't have the resources to sustain it.

When it comes to the afterlife, I realize that my opinion on the matter has no effect on the reality of it. What happens happens and I leave it at that. I would personally like to believe that there is an afterlife, but I see the best of both worlds in the sense that both are possible.

What Tyro said is EXACTLY EXACTLY EXACTLY what I cannot express.
Matter and energy. That's all we are. We do die as in we do transform into the universe.

You might think we're devil praisers for not believing, but what if, a billion years from now, after some sort of apocalypse and now humans are coming back, they found a billion copies of a book that said "The sun is good, the moon is evil blah blah blah"

Wouldn't you believe that if it was the only thing to believe?

Please, please, please, please learn to use BASIC punctuation.

On-topic: No, not at all. Truth does not differ person-to-person. Truth is truth, never more, never less. Truths are not opinions, nor are they subject to be altered person-to-person.

Only sociopaths choose to have some sort of moral feeling - for everyone else it is ingrained in us. We're a communal species who sees it wrong to murder, to rape, to steal, and to abuse; but, sadly, there are those who can see these as acceptable, but remember this: they're an extreme, extreme minority.

I don't think there's an afterlife because science hasn't proven it. The bible is not proof there is one either, the bible is very stupid imo.
