    Post count does not matter?

Actually, if a scammer just spams for post count, you can see the average posts a day... like 25 to 100 posts/day = scammer, IMO. But 700+ posts with like 1 to 3 posts a day is USUALLY legit.

    Post count does not matter?

Once in the past i've seen someone with several hundred posts in a matter of days.

    No >:X

I'm saying that scammers can take advantage of the trust that's apparently associated with post count.

Example: If you(gohanforever) decided you wanted to scam another member, you wouldn't have to wait long at all, because some members, new ones in particular, deem post count trustworthy.
I know. Regardless of post count, join date and vouches, every user has the potential to scam.

However, chances that you will be scammed with someone who has 2000 posts, 90 vouches are less then that of someone with 2000 posts and 0 vouches.

In fact, as soon as a member has a first good vouch(account sale, gp), chances that you'll be scammed by that person dramatically decrease.
Not accusing said person of being a scammer/going-to scam, but this is what typically does happen when scammers are involved.
Having vouches is one thing, the quality of them is another.

As you've mentioned, I wouldn't even consider someone who's vouches consist of the likes of "free tutorial islands" or "free names".

MMing, account sales and gp are the types of vouches that should be considered.
Unfortunately, the majority of sythe's members don't tend to consider the amount of time the posts were accumulated in. They focus on the number when they're judging trustworthiness via posts.

    Post count does not matter?

Given the fact that a guru scammed me I think it doesn't.

    Post count does not matter?

You remind me of someone... Hmm...

OT: I think that post count does matter in a way. I wouldn't trust someone solely on post count or on vouches as both can easily be achieved. It's hard to actually tell who is trustworthy and who isn't because a lot of the trustworthy people don't even use the Blackmarket.

Personally, I look at vouches, the services they provide, if any. Their postcount, their join date, their posts per day, and I look at their signature, and avatar image.

If they lack avatar image, might mean they are just here quickly for something, that I look out for, and lack of a signature. Or a poor one.

    Post count does not matter?

Someones post count does not establish that persons level of integrity IRL.
    That's just my opinion.

I think post count really only helps when they didn't spam to get it, like it took them a decent bit to get it. But good and respected vouches are better.
