Vouches

I have been thinking, lets say someone vouches for you, you quote the vouch put it on your thread/sig then the person deletes the post of the vouch, then when someone clicks it its gonna say like invalid thread equaling a fake vouch and a ban.

 

There is a Vouch sub section in the middle manning section I believe.

 

We can still see the posts you delete.

If you're aware that someone has revoked their vouch, you must remove it from your signature. However, staff are understanding of the fact that most people don't constantly check their vouches for changes.

 

so if someone decides to be a dick and delete their vouch for no reason, you cant do anything about it..?

 

ive seen people use pictures for vouches before, idk if you can but i've seen it, maybe screenshot the post and use that if nescasarry i guess.

If your trade with someone goes well, they aren't going to "be a dick and delete their vouch for no reason." That's just not how people are. Vouches are commonly revoked after payment/account reversals, training bans, etc.

You're not entitled to the vouch anyway, so I fail to see how "not being able to do anything about it" matters. The vouch was prematurely given in the first place if the user needs to question it - either way, if they don't trust you, they don't trust you.

And yes, staff can see all deleted posts (even those deleted by other staff members). Only admins have the ability to permanently delete.
