All my accounts banned for account sharing/selling. GF

Feb 1: I checked to see this morning ALL 4 of my accounts have been banned due to selling/sharing. I have appealed .. this there any hope in this... this is permed banned to.. any experiences...? Feb 6 or 7 . Appeals denied no last chance appeals need some advice or if there is any chance for this shit


From Jagex Website:

Under most circumstances, you will be allowed to appeal each offence only once. If you are a long-term member of the RuneScape player community, however, and your first appeal is unsuccessful, we may give you a second appeal. This second appeal will become available 21 days after your first appeal is rejected. If your second appeal is unsuccessful, the relevant offence will remain on your account, together with any related penalty. You will not be given a third appeal.

 

Happened to a friend, unless you are Andrey, he said he appealed all and they were all denied.

Happened to me a while back. It fucking sucked. (1 letter name + MANY other good ones).

The most obvious reason that you probably was banned is that Jagex had pretty much blacklisted the account you bought off USFine as a potential account that was traded many times. And since they caught your IP on the account you bought, they did their mess and banned all of your other accounts.

A good appeal to make is to tell Jagex that you didn't know what happened. Because yesterday, you went to a webpage and a person posted the username and password of the account you bought (tell jagex it was just some account you didn't know and a person randomly posted the username and password on it), and say you played on it for a few hours, but after a day, you came back and decided to play on your old account, but to find out that it was banned due to sharing/selling. Tell them that you didn't do anything other than playing on the account that some random person posted on a webpage you visited yesterday.


That's all I can do.

 

Like I said... This is my account. I think I know why this has happened. Cause I merch accounts.. So I always set new recovs on many 20+ multiple accounts. so they banned ALL my accounts that had my IP onto.

dude i feel your pain tbh, i was on early this morning about to buy 2 master wands from MTA and i dc. i go to log back in and boom my acc was disbaled for "account selling/sharing". it was a zerker with 60 attk 90 str 45 def 90 range 44 pray 85 cb. had 400m with barrow gloves,dclaws,torso and more. :/ fuck me dead

You can only blame your stupidity here. If your not smart enough to mask your IP or other preventative measures when doing that many trades, your bound to get banned or flagged.

Good luck trying to appeal it. Try using the school network appeal. Say your in an educational instution or library playing RS?

 

Don't worry. I failed the appeal now I know i will be permed banned. My appeal was rubbish. This is what it says, and this is what i wrote.
From Jagex:

This account has been banned for Hijacking. Jagex operates a zero tolerance policy regarding such actions.

In stealing player login details and accessing accounts without authorisation, you have not only broken RuneScape's rules but also committed an act which is illegal under real world law.

We do not discuss our detection methods, as such, no evidence will be viewable to you.

Any associated accounts will be monitored, and future instances of Hijacking, Phishing, or related offences will result in further action against your account(s). We reserve the right to pass information on persistant hijackers to law enforcement agencies.



To Jagex Moderators,

Due to this computer shared my many many users, I suspect different acts/behaviours on all accounts. ""Say_One" "Sk8erboy 182" are my ONLY accounts. What have I done wrong? Say one and sk8erboy 182 has been in my possession in all times. Please please review this and un-ban. I do not understand, people use this computer to recover there own accounts etc. You need to review this again and let me appeal as I have worked 6years+ hard into this game. Please understand and sorry for any troubles.
