You should report posts, but only if it's the same idea.

If they expand on the other person's post or incorporate different ideas, then it's not spam. You, however, posted the same thing as farcast in a more basic form.

No one cares about your opinion if it's already been said, in a simpler form.

It's spam, rules are rules bud.

 

The rules are in place to prevent people from spamming the same thing other people have said. For example someone asks how to take a screenshot, we don't want 10 people posting "printscreen". However if the first person posts "press the printscreen button" and the next person posts something that builds on it, then it wont be taken as spam.

Thank you for a CIVILIZED response skele. But the guy it was a general answer, there are many different ways. I was also saying that this is most likely the best method for it. So the guy would be sure to do so.

As already stated, repeating the posts of others is unnecessary. We have already seen that post, and regurgitation is REALLY not needed, sorry man but the infraction is warranted by me. All you really did was get your post count up.


EDIT: Also, you can't see who's getting infracted or not.

 

What you posted did not build off of Farcast's post. If you had, and said something like "yea he is right reinstalling it normally fixes any problem you get. Just do that first and it should fix most problems you run into..." then it would have been fine.
