What's this new orb thingy allow you to do? And how to you get it?

Apparently it is a beta of some sort, nice find, my reasoning is since in.

The pathway to the left appears to be incompleted. O-o!

Going to be something with a quest, I bet their just dying to make a gwd quest. A boss type quest for new armour (as if questers don't have enough npc's to themselfs, what about slayer?). A new boss room?

I just bet it'll be some long leghty unbeatble for some quest that has a amazing beast reward.... Gah Questscape FTL.

I agree, it was probably used for BETA testing. I doubt it will be used for anything, especially anything connected to do with GWD. The area more resembles the ancient cavern than GWD.
