Jagex just raised chances of getting mint cakes from gnome restaurant... price probably going to fall a lot.... =( just a heads up

 

Haha, yea I just saw this on the official website and immediately thought of the people here who have 200+ mints.....

Yup, I'm basically out of a job. I had a good run though, and it's kinda fun to think that I myself helped directly influence jagex's actions.

 

I feel bad for the people who have spent like $100s of dollars in the last few days on mints, money down the drain lols.

I have 6 mints, and yes they are nerfed. People are trying to sell from 350k-2m each in World 2. Not many buyers though...

I'm sure there will be a new bartering chip, wonder what it'll be...maybe Video that will be your new business

Had 4 mints. Trying to get rid of them as I type. It's only a matter of time until a new item is used instead.

Oh no.. Merchant_In_The_Dark better sell his cakes.. He has like 200+

 

Why are people panicking that much? How many of you actually know anyone, including yourself, who actually does the restuarant minigame? I didn't even know of the game when i first got p2p a few months ago. Jagex making the game easier to obtain mints doesn't mean alot of people will purposely play that game for rewards. Correct me if I'm wrong.

 

People are panicking because the value has already dropped to 200k-1m each in world 2.

 

I seen this update on the runescape site earlier and thought "unlucky to all those merchants with shit loads of mints". Luckily I myself have 0 mint cakes so this didn't effect me.

 

same here haha, it sucks because I know people who bought large quantities for like $2 ea.

 

Meh If anyone wants a mint Ill sell fo a dollar. I had 2 but I just sold 1
