Whats the best amour?

I haven't been around for a while and I was wondering whats the best setup for

Melee:
Mage:
Range:

How much are is the whole setup worth

so for example:
Melee:

This setup is worth 900k ( THIS IS A EXAMPLE IT IS PROBALY NOT THE BEST OR WORTH THIS)

Ok, well anyway, the best armor is probably third age but that's like impossible to come by.. So the more popular armor for melee is Bandos or barrows, range is armadyl, black d hide, karils, and then mage would be probably ahrims.

 

Are you sure thats the best for mage?

and how much is full armadyl? and whats the best ring? ammy? helm? boots? shield? bow? arrows? staff? cape?

 

Best armors are pvp armors, but they only last up to 1 hour.

I second that,3rd age has +10 more defence then bandos and costs a shit loads of money.On the other hand bandos has the str bonus wich makes it alot better.
Here's probably the most commonly used equip by people with a nice pile of money,but instead of ferocious ring is berserker ring and neitiznot helm.
While this equip costs roughly 100m and is alot better,3rd age melle set is about 400m.

 

Best armor would probably be vesta gear, although it would degrade pretty fast. I guess Bandos is the best gear around.

 

Barrow's gear has higher defense bonuses then Bandos, but Bandos has a better strength bonus. Third age isn't practical due to it's high price. Ahrim's is the armour of choice for mage, and if you can afford it Armadyl is the best for range. If you can't, black d'hide or Karil's does just fine.
