Should homosexuals have the right to get married?

And I get grossed out by ugly fat people in public, but I don't propose banning something on the grounds of being "gross". Grow up.

Let's just throw out years of hard work and start enslaving blacks, mexicans, and anyone else we don't like. We'll kick them out of our restaurants, we'll badger them in the streets, and we'll fuck their daughters with the claim of "I own her".

Your argument sets humanity back in progress by many years. Homosexual couples rarely, if ever, go out in public and start making out. And when they do, who gives a shit what other people think? If they start becoming indecent, then they can and will be arrested. Just as a heterosexual couple would be. If you're incapable of not being an asshat in public for no reason, then don't go in public.

So what? In the 1800's, blacks were meant to be slaves? In the early 1900's, mobsters roamed the streets, robbing banks. In the 1930's, women went to work in massive numbers. In the 1970's, abortion became legal in the U.S.

Times change, and with it tradition. Just because it started like that, doesn't mean it shouldn't be different. If we continue to live in past beliefs then we will never progress as a race.


While I do agree that marriage should not be a government recognized act. In some circumstances, it'd be very difficult to come up with a different way of doing things. Hospital visits, joint accounts, etc. We've built a lot up around marriage, that not recognizing them would cause a lot of problems.

But in my opinion, if a man and woman want to say they are married, without even consulting an 'official' they should have that right. Two people, deciding to spend their life together, and share everything... sounds like marriage to me. Who needs some third party making it 'legal' or 'binding'. Let the people do it themselves .

 

I think we should let "them" marry, they're just borned like that, why should we punish them for thier nature? that's my opinion.

Marriage is a bond between two people, who have decided to live out the remainder of their lives together. If they wish to, they may share money, housing and so on and utilise any benefits and privileges their state has allocated for married couples.

Nowhere there is there any mention of the gender of the participants, nor of religion, and there is no need for either.

 

There's no reason for the government to get involved at all, It's their choice and they should live their lives to the fullest.

Homosexuality is not wrong and they have the right to get married whenever, wherever, they want.

I think homosexuals shouldn't be allowed to get married. Common sense tells you that marriage is for man and woman. I think changing that basic science law is wrong.

 

Common sense tells us that the penis goes in a vagina. Or an anus. The male G spot is reachable through the anus. Thus stimulating it with a penis is common sense. Common sense doesn't tell us to partake in a silly ritual that involves a priest and vows. Common sense isn't a valid argument.

 

Wait, I thought marriage belonged to the church and that our government ruled separation of church and state. This debate shouldn't even exist.

I think that god made it so only male/female can have babies together etc for a purpose. So I'm not really for homosexual sexual marriage. They can be together and whatever, but I dont think they should get married. They can not start the "typical family" unless the adopt etc. But they can adopt with about being married.

 

God also made certain people in the world gay...

See, I think that they should be allowed to be Joined by law, however I don't think marriage is the right thing, cus of the religious nuts who 'forbid' it.
