Regarding temp ban (RWT minor)

I would recommend, NOT using a mule, just makes it look more suspicious

 

I've just had a 3 day ban issued for RWTing. What are the chances they take my GP/items? I had about 1b in my coin pouch and a max stack in the ge trying to buy a rare as a place holder.

 

Just got 3 day ban minor.. had 1.5b will update

Just got the 3-day RWT minor ban. When clicking the link that takes you to see the evidence, there's a possiblyyy automated text that says: "Your account has been temporarily banned and wealth has been removed for Real World Trading in RuneScape. Should you continue to exhibit this behavior, further action will be taken against your account."

Not sure if the previous commenters that did not have their wealth removed also had that text at the bottom... but I'll update after I log back in and check. Had a little over 500m in coin pouch at time of ban.

 

I did 50m trades and never got banned, just a suggestion

 

I also just caught a ban recently. Had 250m in pouch and 10B+ in shards in bank. Been seeing a lot of different stories here and am kinda worried. It was a 3 day minor ban and was appealable. Will update when I'm unbanned. The most recent buy was like 200m gp. So hopefully they don't remove the shard stack/dyes.

 

Update: 500m+ was removed from coin pouch, upon login coin pouch was 0. Bank was strangely rearranged, but no items appear to be missing. Not sure how to explain the inconsistency of Jagex sometimes resetting coin pouch to 0 and sometimes not. May depend on amount of GP purchased? Or they may base it on total wealth of the account? (the more you already have, they feel less bad about removing the GP?)

 

Update: nothing was removed. 250m still in cash pile, and 10B+ in shards. All items are still in the correct order. Should be mentioned that I was able to appeal it, my friend was not able to appeal his. My appeal did not get read, it just stayed pending the whole time.

so prior to getting my 3 day ban, i had gotten a warning a few months back that if I get RWTing that they will take further action on my acc. i continued and caught a 3 day ban and now they’ve stated they’re removing wealth. I’ve bought a total of 2B and have 500m in coin pouch and 1.5b in bank. will update to see what they actually do…

 

I wouldn't be surprised if they followed through with removing wealth. I've read that they have and will do it

 

last weekend i have bought 6B to buy the bow of the last guardian i just got a 3 day ban today..

i had 200M gp left and then the bow... will update

 

They took about 2b off me.

 

They only remove gold, they don't even remove shards currently. Rares/items are safe. A warning is a warning, I would reccomend trying to find a better way to buy your gold going forward. It sucks because RS3 has a very strong detection system now a days. Almost better to buy gold on osrs and swap it to rs3 to try to avoid the ban.

 

I had a minor RWT ban recently where the gold wasn't even removed, it's really weird what decides if the gold gets removed or not.

 

New to the forum just got a 3-day ban RWT minor I will let you all know if I loose my items. RS3 btw anyone have issues in RS3 loosing items?

 

any updates on rather the took the bow or not similar situation here.
