I think that what Steve is hiding under that "One more thing..." is the iSLATE.

Ill have to say there was a bit to much hype for the product that was released. Oh well, im sure they have better stuff up there sleve's.

 

Windows have done it before.

Can't believe the amount of hype the iPad got. Shows how much respect Apple gets for anything they release. This product looks anything but innovative, as everyone else is saying, it's just like they glued 9 iPhones together

 

Sounds like a big iphone to me. If you need more capabilities than the iphone has to offer then just get a laptop. I mean, laptops are small enough now that you don't need a "ipad". And I just looked, the 16gb 3g model is 630$ which you can get a very nice laptop for now.

 

How come I've never heard of it... :3

Judging from what I've heard it sounds really lame though.

 

It's a big iPhone yes, but in 1 year everyone will have/want it. This device really is the future. I'm not saying I'm interested in it however... yet.

It never had a chance, it'd have to excrete gold and shoot baby-killing lazers to live up the the hype and speculations it got over the past two years.

 

Looks stupid only thing im looking forward to about this is someone jail breaking it

One thing I sincerely hoped for was that Steve was going to release the REAL tablet like halfway into the iPad's introduction. Hope fades.

The apps that were redesigned for it are simply amazing, though. I might buy the 16GB wifi when I have the money, just for shit n' giggles.

Btw, I also want to buy two so I can use that USB adapter in the iPad to charge my iPad.

 

lol when i saw the ipad on fox news when i came home i lol'd and said why would they make that, how are you going to carry it?, not in your pocket...

I'm sorry but the fucking iPad is just a fail on Apple's part.
It's just an enlarged iPhone with the iTouch's thinness.
It's so rediculously stupid!!!
I expected more from Apple, see I'm not a fanboy. HATE the iPhone, fucking toy in my opinion.
Love the iPods though, good music players.

But I own a Nokia N900, 10x better then iPhone FEATURE wise, all iPhone has on it is your gay Apps and Multitouch screen.

IF you're looking for a tablet, check out the Microsoft Courier. THAT is what the i"Pad" should have been, maybe even better. But FAIL on Apple's part.

 

It's not that bad. I mean the ipod mini is just a small ipod, the ipod video is just an ipod with videos, not all inventions are much a diffrence. I think it'll be cool, kind of like a laptop.

 

Fail hard, its like a mass touch.

 

The first thing I saw on facebook was "I'm only buying the iPad if it can store a terabyte of menstrual blood" -.-
And I hate how Apple advertises it as if it uses new technologies, when in reality the technologies have been in place for quite a while at this point

 

I like my keyboard, no thanks.
