    Help with dental issues....

Hey guys, I just needed a little bit of help with something. About a week ago I was in quite a rush, and while brushing my teeth the brush slipped and the solid plastic part smacked against my lower gum, sort of between the gum and the lip. It hurt like hell, and I thought it would be fine so I just went to bed. It was really painful in the morning, so I took a look and there was this little concave ulcer thing, about 5mm in diameter. Its really painful, and it makes eating, drinking, talking and just generally moving my mouth difficult. I have been putting Bonjela on it, regularly washing out my mouth etc. but it still won't go. If anything its getting worse! Any ideas on how I can help heal it? :'(

Just wait. Don't get the area dirty with junk food or anything. Keep the germs from not coming in. Just wait a week or two and it should heal. If it hurts really badly I suggest putting toothpaste on it. It will be minty and might stop the pain. That's the best help I can give you.
    ;)

    Take a picture!

Maybe go to the dentist/doctor if the problem pursues?

LMAO wouldn't it be wise to see a dentist if you have dental problems?

And what's with rushing to bed?

I mean oral problems I think. It's not really tooth related, just in that region. The reason I rushed to be was because it was half past midnight and I had school the next day, so I had to sleep.

Thanks for the advice guys, I will wait it out and see what happens. Will post a picture later when I find my phone.

Go see a dentist. Or anyone with medical training... But I bet it will go away in a bit.

It's a canker. Some people say gurgling with salt water helps, but I dunno. I got the same with from getting punched by a crazy man about a week ago and it took about 4 days to heal the gashes/cankers to the point where eating was normal.
