How are claws better than dagger

NVM HAD MATH WRONG.

Dagger = 2x normal dmg. max hit @90 str = 26x2 = 52 and it only takes 25%
Claws = 2x first hit. max hit = 29 @ 90 str = 29x2.5 = 72.5 and it takes 50%

20.5 more dmg!

But new question, if claw hits low for first hit, does it make up for it on the other hits or is everything just 0??

 

I thought if the claws hit low at first the last attack would be really high

You can hit 4x consecutively with d claws special, also something unique about the special is that the total damage dealt is generally double that of the first hit.Here's how it works: Depending on the first hit the 2nd hit will be half of that and the 3rd and 4th hit will be half of the second hit. So for example your first hit is a 32, divide that by two and your second hit is 16, then divide again by two and your 3rd and 4th hit will be 8s so; 32+16+8+8=64. If you include the other 50% of the special that is a potential 128. The short amount of time require to active it's special and it's power makes it ideal for bounty hunter or for any quick kill. That's what makes it better than the dragon dagger.

dds owns tho, it's 40k, im 91 str and i can hit 30's, 2x30 is 60 using 25%... 4x25% = full spec bar = 240 damage.

I think the only reason D claws are better is because it hits 4 times, and maybe the swiftness of it gives it the advantage.

 

DDs>Claws....................
The only advantage I can possibly see with claws is that if your first hit lands well, then you are gaurenteed a good special. Where as DDs can do like 40-0. Taking into consideration the DDS has 4 specials and is 35m cheaper I think it's safe to say you're better off with a DDs.

 

People have little time to react to claws and a lot with the dagger.

 

Claws are way faster making it more effective.

 

I say claws much stronger not enough time to recover.

dds, has x4 special, clawsx2 special. claws are better at higher combat 100+ recommended or maxed pures. DDS is good for welfare pking and x4 specials. Also known for low lvl accounts 65-90.

 

Claws also have a long attack range. You don't need to be right next to someone in order to spec, unlike dds. Thus, rushing is an advantage as well as the element of surprise. More people than you think forget that d claws have a long range attack. So no one would think you're going to spec them if you're a few squares away..
