I do not listen to Lil Wayne however some of his lyrics I heard are funny but they say so much.

Ex: "I got 10 bathrooms so I can shit all day"

You used Plies as an example of good rap? He's no different then wayne. All he raps about is sex and money.

Yeah we all know lil wayne, jay-z, all them are power "thugs"
Like, immortal technique, AOTP, cannibus etc use the power of music to send messages.
We don't give a fuck if you have a 3 million dollar toilet or a pool the size of your mansion.

Not to mention they use auto-tuners and editing software to perfect the songs (where's the soul in that?)
I think of all those mainstream like kayne and lil wayne to be goverment muscians because they do the most to maximize profit without thinking of other fucking things in life.

 

There is no truth to rap, it's all bullshit dribble and random words thrown together e.g. "pimp nigga slut ho homie dog G". Sorry but I think rap is one of the worst music genres, I hope this is a troll post.

in my opinion, plies isn't a lyricists. he's just another mainstream tool, who just so happens to be more sexual than lil wayne.

lupe fiasco, i think, is good. eminem. kid cudi. this people managed to incorporate a meaning AND good lyrics.

nonetheless, the mainstreams make good hits. like this plies song, for instance.
