[denied] Allow Reporting Inactive Accounts

Perhaps even a new “inactive” reports thread similar to the name change thread would suffice.

a single thread with:

sythe profile:
Offline report:
Amount scammed:
Discord/uid:
Link to report:

that way mods can review at their leisure without the need for 300 separate reports to go through.

It would also have a place where “inactive” accounts can be recognised, even if not actioned with a simple search.

 

Something I also wanted to ask - what is categorized as "inactive", 1 month, 1 year, 5 years, longer, shorter?

At that point you may as well set a cron to start pruning/deleting any accounts that are categorized as "inactive" rather than try to chase down users who don't use the website any more

 

going off previous posts where mods told @Wortel not to report inactive accounts, it looks like any account 2 years + inactive meet the criteria as inactive

 

Perhaps something like this:

1. Make an archival section for "inactive user" reports - although they would not be actionable reports, just an archive of suspicious activity from an inactive user, something akin to TWC, I guess.

2. Set up a cron to auto-move users who have not signed into / visited the forum in the last 2-3 years to "Inactive", a group which will be restricted from the forum outside of a section to post return threads and be re-instated to the website subject to mod review at that point (they would look through the archive from #1 to see if there is any outstanding charges, otherwise re-instate said user)

The idea of this would be to add more automation around the process of marking inactive users, and only giving moderators actionable work only if inactive users are seeking to return to Sythe, as opposed to having mods chase down inactive users perpetually.
