    Hey Viper,

Your computer specs are almost the same as the computer I was looking at.

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883147038

I added the price of the parts of your system (didn't count speakers, monitor, or your keyboard), and it came out to ~$1035. The computer that I am looking at comes with more RAM, keyboard, mouse, etc. How much did you pay for your parts? If it just costs around $100 more to buy a premade computer with the same specs, I'll probably go with the premade.

Buy parts separately, I done mine with having little knowledge about them. Just watch a few videos and read a few articles and make sure you were the anti-static wristband

Looking to buy a new computer.

I have to say, putting all of the parts together for the first time and then plugging everything in and having it turn on is one of the most satisfying feelings in the world.

Really, building your own computer is not difficult. Most of the parts are like 'legos' (assuming everything you buy is compatible with each other, which is pretty easy to ensure.) The only places where you can actually fuck something up badly is either the installation of the motherboard or the thermal paste (incorrectly / unapplied thermal paste = enjoy your new toaster.)
