Need help connecting xbox

ok i want to connect my xbox 360 to my dell latitude D610 laptop however im not using wireless connection im connectiing to my modem from a usb so i have the ethernet not in use i connect the ethernet to my laptop and the othar side to my xbox it cant obtain ip adress

so i ran cmd ipconfig/all
and i seen ip routing is disable im guessing that will do the trick how do i enable it?
