Do you honestly care about Haiti?

I like to see that people express their opinions

Indonesia - $1 million
Singapore - $0.05 million
Cambodia - $0.05 million
Thailand - $0.02 million

If this data is true, that's pathetically low from a country.

 

It's really sad and bad that it happened but I don't think about it and it doesn't affect my lifestyle.

 

That's not what I solely think it's human nature; you think the same way.

 

Is it about how much money countries donate? If you didn't already know, Indonesia, Thailand and Cambodia are third world countries with greater problems of their own. Haiti has had a lot more support than they ever have but still can't get it's act together. There's no point going on this thread and expressing a very one sided and illogical opinion because you just end up looking like an idiot.

Haha to true , yeah i dont really know a thing about it because i hardly ever watch the news but yeah these things happen all the time what are we going to do? donate to every country that has a disaster? hm i reckon its just a way for different organizations to make a load of cash.

 

I feel sorry for the people but I obviously don't care that much because I'm not going to be giving my money to them, I can't justify giving money to charitys because I have always had that thought of the money I have donated going into peoples back pockets.

We don't care about Haiti, and why should we? We won't be gaining anything from this hopeless moralist endeavor. We've pumped tens of millions into Haiti trying to develop it, and why should we even do that? The U.S. shouldn't have to be the parent to every nation in the world.

 

as a moral trait, we should care. but helping out haiti is like saying of north korea was hit by a huge monsoon that destroyed all the crops, all their nukes, and 400,000 people. why would we want to help? the world has put it in america's hands to do all the dirty work and take care of the world.

as stated, haiti is highly corrupted. people were skeptical of even helping them because of how bad the government was to start with. sending money directly to the government wont benefit us in anyway whatsoever.

Haiti was very poor. In the long run, I don't see why Haiti is flippin their shit about it. They're going to end up with more money from support then they started out with.

 

Lets see how many countries run to our aid when it happens to us.
