[denied] Limit 'vouch farming'

I don't think that purchases should be included as vouches.
The seller is the one earning the vouch. They're the one who accepted funds first and delivered. The seller is always happy to sell to someone going first.
You don't get a vouch for being the recipient, but get a receipt?

You can receive vouches for work performed for free BUT not work received.
Work performed should be stated in total hours playtime.

Both parties should receive vouches, as both parties are in fact doing the trade. It's no different to doing a service vouch as you mentioned work etc, and yes you can receive vouches for free work, but maybe that should also be underlined that it WAS done for free and not actually at the expense of someone, leading people to have a false sense of security

A lot of sellers the same as buyers (if low vouch count at least) use this as a term of "trust" like if you sell 10B and you have just started the website a week ago, you typically put "10B+ Traded!!!!" in your title or something along them lines which then inclines people to believe that you're in fact trusted when you're not

There should be a clear underline with this and such things from people such as gold websites going "vouch sold me gp" doesn't really help. I understand not wanting to disclose the amount, or wanting to be quick because maybe you gotta vouch for like 100000000 people at once but it's just purely down to being lazy

 

If you suggest someone working for free should be outlined as it was not at the expense of someone then how can you agree with someone receiving vouches for purchasing items (not at the expense of buyer). If there's clarification for doing free work, there should also be for purchasing.

The buyer is simply putting up money - no trust in buyer necessary.
Someone could buy 1,000 times and have a lot of rep, however they haven't had an opportunity to scam (not go first).

Receipt, yes.
Vouch, not required.

 

What would the receipt be exactly then?

Because if the vouch is left under X-did X-free, that would essentially be a valid vouch. However if you was to go OH MY GOD 2EASY IS SO TRUSTED MAN HE KNOCKED ME OUT 1-36 WOODCUTTING x10 IN NO TIME FUCKING BEAST BRUV! that's just stupid, and clearly misleading

Vouch would be 10 hours of free work completed.

It's a lot more useful if total hours are stated (Just an idea).
I strongly disagree with vouching buyers though (ignoring workers).

 

To place more context to avoid you being confused, i'll explain a bit further with your thread for example - ✅BIG ORDER✅ NMZ READY accounts ✅ What's your best price? ✅ if i'm not mistaken last time you posted this you wanted it for 25M or something which adds to around $8-9 on average per account

If you was new to the server and this said person who completed the service was looking to trade you and was like here bro heres my vouches look at them, then new users wont really know much different. They will think because let's say this person did again with the random number being x10 of these accounts for you let's say spaced out between different lengths of time to gain more vouches that this person is "in fact trusted" because of the number count and not the quality

However, if it was listed that let's say the person did $8 worth of work for you, was a solid person to deal with but in fact it was "only" $8 would then guide them back to questioning if and why the person should be trusted and if let's say a middleman should be used

Correct, it does literally take ~1 hour but at the same time it doesn't mean that the person is going to go out of their way to do hourly free work over a overall job vouch, which is the issue between the two and exactly what I am trying to pick at which you seem to not understand

And again, unless the person was let's say a hourly charge like they do 1 hours free work then this wouldn't really do much. With that being said though, the person who is the one requesting would realistically have to list that the person did 1 hours free work and then it would be down to the person themselves afterwards to read the persons vouches specifically and see what they have done

On another website I recently came back to, I have 52 feedback, most of which adds to around 30-50B in gold sales, this means I am in fact more trusted than most people with the same amount of feedback than me but people will still prefer them over me even if they have a higher feedback but less quality

As for the worker part, yes workers should never be vouched for on Sythe. I mean if you're saying it as like "2easys worker <name> was so good man, proper good work 10/10" on YOUR thread yes that's fine though as it's the same with gold sites. It is still your name, still your business not the workers and the worker is simply just doing their job and their part to expand your growth

 

This is in regards to purchases, not working for free.

How are you going to enforce people to quote the price of their work done properly if it's free?
Sure, 10 hours WCing isn't a lot of work however you have a true amount of playtime done.
The onus is on the person hiring to properly gauge.
You could include what the tasks were if it really matters, however I wouldn't trust anyone doing free work more than I'd trust a newcomer with 1 post.

You are 100% correct that both parties should be vouching each other leaving a great feedback but most known rsgp seller won’t even vouch but that should be a most do for both parties.

 

Then the issue is that users have a misguided concept of trustworthiness, just like donor amount etc.

This is creating a barrier to anyone who hasn't already "vouch farmed" from competing with those who have high vouch counts in the future. Are you insinuating we should wipe everyones vouches and start anew with these proposed rules?
