    Your Warcraft III TFT Guide!

    Just bought Wc3 TFT or have any questions? This is your guide then!
    I'm the 4th placed solo player in Europe in the 2009-10 ladder season ( currently ), and am here to help you!

    FAQ:
    Can I play on an illegaly downloaded version of Warcraft III?
    -No, you can't, therefore I suggest you buy an original version. I discourage the use of such programs as garena, as it's slow, it sucks and is completely pointless.

    I lost my CD-Key, what should I do?
    - You can either a new CD-Key @ www.blizzard.com/account or ask someone for one, unless ofcourse you already have the games installed, in which case you do not need to know your cd key!

    I want to reinstall Warcraft III but I do not have the CD-Keys, what should I do?
    -There's a program out there called 'Warcracft III CD-Key Grabber', download the program (scan it before using it of course!), put it in your Warcraft III directory and run the file, therefore getting your CD-Keys. This means you can re-install Warcraft III anytime without having to worry!

    My CD is lost and cant install warcraft III again! What should I do?
    -Go to www.blizzard.com/account , create an account, and choose 'register game' - type in your CD-key and it will auto save for you. This has helped me in fact many times as well before, since I do not have my CD's anymore

    What does hosting mean?
    -In order for you to create custom games or host Arranged team games, you need to have your port 6112 open on your firewall for Warcraft III to access, otherwise you won't be able to host.

    I want to learn more about tactics and how the game goes!
    -I suggest you go to www.wcreplays.com . This site has many very useful replays, from which you can learn, many of them from professional players!

    I want to run my Stealthbot or other Bot in my Clan channel or just in any random channel, but I can't!
    -Due to a new upgrade of Blizzard you are now not allowed to be idle in the channels for a long time otherwise you will be booted. This is so you can not abuse without using your cursor and such. Search in google, Warcraft III warden - this is a proxy basicly which let's you bypass the connection problems when trying to log on a battle.net server with a bot or any such programs.

    For experienced players, FAQ:
    I want to find a program in order to determine my APM, what should I do?
    - Google 'Replay Parser', or 'WC3charts' download, install, open a replay you wish to check the stats of and you're done!

    I get crashacked or drophacked or I see maphackers, what should I do and what can I do against it?
    -Always report such abuses to [email protected] and try googling for anti crash hack or anti mh, you should always find something that should help!

    How can I find out whether someone is an abuser or not?
    -Go to classic.battle.net , chose your realm and type in the players name in the ladder rankings, then chose the option 'Full game listings', if the given player's first 5-10 games are losses, the chances of him being an abuser is 99.99%.

    I'm a good player, yet I always get shit allies in rt or very strong opponents in solo, why's that?
    -That is because, warcraft III, has an ELL system which always tries to match you with an opponent, on a similar level. If you have further question about this, please do not hesitate to ask me!

    Warcraft III The Frozen Throne:
    Warcraft III TFT is a strategy game, made by Blizzard. It has more moduses of gaming:
    -Campaign (let's you do a long gaming story, fun for beginners)
    -Battle.Net (you can play vs. other players online, I only recommend this after you've gained some skills)
    -Local Are Network gaming (let's you play with friends on the same LAN)
    -Single Player (well take a guess)

    Warcraft III build up of 4 races: Human, Orc, Night elf and Undead. Every race has different units, different building orders, different usages and what not. Your object is to defeat all your opponents' bases (this DOES infact mean if you kill all his buildings while he still has a huge army, you WIN!)

    On B.net there are several gaming modes as well:
    -Solo gaming (matches you in a 1v1 game with someone who has probably the same amount of skills as you do)
    -Random team (recommended to beginners only, usually complete idiot players in there)
    -Arranged team (let's you play with someone you know (2v2 3v3 4v4), one of you needs to be able to host, to see what hosting is please see my FAQ.)
    -Custom game (All kinds of mini-games or maps other users or blizzard has created, for you to have fun with.)

    Well that'd be it about Warcraft III, with any further questions please feel to contact me or post!
    thanks.

    You think you can explain to me about how to use the List Checker function for custom games? And you think you can explain to me how to use the GHost++ bot?

    List Checker you mean Check Up LC which let's you host?
    If you're talking about that program, this is what you should do:
    Once you download CULC you should find the run file and a filed called 'Check Up listchcker.ini or anything with a very similar name and it will say:

    [pickup]
    bnetnetwork=europe/useast/uswest/asia.battle.net (you should write the name of the realm you use!)

    bnetkey1= your Reign of Chaos CD-Key should be inserted here.
    bnetkey2= your TFT CD-key.

    bnetacc= your warcraft realm's username
    bnetpass= pass

    war3dir= directory where your warcraft III directory can be found (C:\Program Files\Warcraft III most likely)

    hostport=6112

    after that run the program and it should work.

    I was a 95% player before the ladder update which killed stat whoring. Basically what I did was play 2v2, used UD with DK starting and Lich second. Pumped out fiends all game, with fast Statues then Destroyers.

    Micro-wise, this strategy made it quite simple. Focus on the enemy's heroes. I found the best way to do this was to change my nuke hotkeys to "C". So, for Coil it was "C", then tab to Lich, Frost Nova which was set at "C" as well.

    At the same time, if you can micro a few fiends which are getting focus fired, you will drive the majority of your opponents mad. If they begin focusing on your DK, use his speed aura to outmicro your opponent. Also make sure to stack up on a few useful items, such as healing pots and mana. Make sure to keep an eye on your opponent hero's inventory as well, you do not want to target a hero with a Greater Healing pot + Health stone or something.

    Many people I know got War3 illegally and played on it, this works well.
    Garena is not slow and in my opinion, has a better social and private system than b.net. Not to mention the specified game rooms instead of the public non-filtered games or the boring ladder. I play dotA.
