okay so i traded this account for a $15 iTunes gift voucher.

I'm from the UK the other guy is from USA, the iTunes voucher is for USA only so i gave him the code back, however he still feels he should have the account and i should keep the code regardless.

Is this fair that i should keep the code?

Or does anyone know a way for me to use the code even though i'm from the UK?

Judt to clarify i'm not trying to report the guy for scamming and i actually have no problem with him he is pretty legit, cool guy, just a bit indecisive on what to do.

thanks. but hear me out. this is the example i gave him.

if he were buying cod for his comp from me, and i sent it to him. turns out his computer didnt match the specs of it. its no long MY problem. i held up my end of the deal so i deserve payment. maybe its just me, but thats how i see it.

 

because the code was legit

 

to be clear the code was, and still is legit, it just doesn't work in my country

 

You're not obliged to give him the account, but the decent and friendy thing to do would be to give it back.

 

Tbh, if you get a code that you can't use at all is worthless, though it will always means that if the person gets the account back, the other person could use the code and the other guy would get scammed. The party whom is selling the Code can be easily scammed at this point but yea. It's only if you both trust each other enough to give back refunds and etc. (Giving back the account, and the person that bought the itunes card to not use it.)

 

i gave him the code back without giving him the account at all, i have not kept note of the code and it remains useless to me. thanks matthew and angel.

 

but if you check your msn logs or whatever you could easily sell.. if it was an account or something i gave you i'd be fine with returning.. but for THIS im not.

 

Dude i understand fully were you're coming from, but look it from my point of view i'd be giving you the account for nothing, you know i can't use the code therefore you could use it AND have the account.

You guys should have been more clear with the trade, and made sure all details were given before you went through with it. Since the code's already given, there's no real way to take it back as there's no guarantee that you wont use it or sell it.

There's no real way to settle this, but since you guys don't seem to be in an argument, why not work together? Sell the code or let thea106 sell the code and get something else in return.
