Right now there is basically no competition from the big RuneScape sites who only cover RS2, if you advertise well and get guide writers this could become a popular community... Particularly in about 4 months when Jagex says they will once again open RSC to new players (like they did back in November 09).

You could also cover the many RSC private servers which have even more players than the original game!

For those who have little experience with forums and such, you could simply link this to a free forum from a website like InvisionFree or ZetaBoards, amongst many others. Just Google for 'free forums' - there are 239,000,000 results! If you have a little more knowledge (or are willing to spend a little time learning), you could buy professional hosting and even make money from ads and linking!
