Tips on level 3 - 85 mining+

Just got 85 mining last night and wanted to start mining rune, but is it really worth it?

I'm level 3, i need tips on what i should take in the wilderness and the fastest ways, etc. Need advice.

You wouldnt get fast rune tbh IMO. Ermm your lvl 3 so you'd get ownt by revs??

Impossible, would take you about 2 -3 hours to get one bag and then you'd die off of a rev and quit rs.

 

Rev as in a pker? or what? And i probably wouldnt quit. I botted this account in 2 weeks, i have plenty more

a rev is a rather strong NPC that would destroy your face

 

i'd stick to mining gold, its good for cash and not to slow, just do it in crafting guild if your f2p, only thing is you need 40 crafting, and sometimes its packed in f2p

 

Yes as with what hellfire said mine gold because you would start getting tired of constantly dying in the wilderness from the revs.

 

I'd suggest just going pure and mine rune when you get higher HP, the rune would make a good cash flow for PK supplies, etc..

^Thanks to everyone explaining what a Rev is, i guess it is something new since i haven't mined rune since 06 when i quit.

Yeah i mined at least around 30-50k coal and 5k mith, tons of gems etc i crafted to get higher crafting level. Right now I'm at 18m wealth.

You think if i got 40 def i would be safe , I'm also f2p.

I already botted the 85+ mining, i am just wondering if 40 defense, rune armor, etc will work, but also i know they are gonna mage me, so am i basically fucked side ways either way?

 

Odds of you being banned from 85 mining botted in 2 weeks (almost suiciding) are extremely high. I wouldn't even bother getting attached to the account, tbh.

How do I know? I've botted like 10 accounts 100% similar to yours and all but two of them have been banned so far. I use rsbots.net autominerpro as well. I've found that if you spread out the botting to 12 hours a day at max it doesn't get banned usually (this is what I do when I intend to sell a character)

Back on-topic since I know you'll ragequit and shit about me saying you'll probably get banned:
Mining rune on a level 3 is virtually impossible in the wilderness. Revs will kill you very quickly (even with 40 defense. They are very high level and hit very high)

its tough mining rune as a lvl 3 skiller. sucks balls actually. worse than having pkers cuz theres always something biting your ass. if your f2p, in wildy, that area, there are really only high level revs like the knights who are 120+. if you're looking to mine rune as a profit, it isn't worth it. anything else but rune might be better.
